  1. This program is used to manage multiple
  2. libraries; STANDARD,TTL,USER and/or any
  3. user created library.
  4.  
  5. The Standard library has a selection
  6. of parttypes, decals, and 2d-lines 
  7. that CAD-Software Inc has provided with 
  8. the PADS-PCB program. As a rule you 
  9. should not modify or add items to the
  10. standard library.
  11.  
  12. The User library is supplied to you with
  13. no items in it.  Any new parttypes, decals
  14. or line items should be added to this 
  15. and/or any user created library.  
  16.  
  17. The TTL library is supplied to you with
  18. parttypes and decals that CAD-Software
  19. Inc. has provided with the PADS-PCB
  20. program. As a rule you should not modify
  21. or add items to the TTL library.
  22. Note: This library has no lines items.
  23.  
  24. When you reference the library via the
  25. PADS-PCB program the sequence of which 
  26. the libraries are searched is dictated
  27. by the PLIB.DAT file. 
  28.  
  29. Both the standard and TTL libraries 
  30. should not be updated by the user. 
  31. This will prevent any additional 
  32. parts that the user may have
  33. added to the libraries from being 
  34. deleted when a new update is loaded.
  35.  
  36. Below is a list of library files
  37. that should be backed up periodically.
  38. This will ensure that if the computer 
  39. loses power and causes the library
  40. to be corrupted that you can replace
  41. it with a backup copy.

  43. NOTE: STD can represent any customer
  44. generated library.
